Small grants are available for community groups, schoolsl, service providers and organisations to provide or promote mental health awareness activities as part of mental health week this year.

SG & G Drug Action Plan

A workshop was held on 15 April to review the draft SG & G Drug Action Plan for 2008-2011. The workshop was expertly facilitated by Anita Thomas and was very well attended by a broad range of sectors.

The PCP will now develop up a draft structure and work with stakeholders to complete the Plan.

Physical Activity The first edition of the Go For Your Life "Challenging Stereotypes" newsletter is now available. More

Health

A paper from Deakin University and Parks Victoria is available, highlighting the health benefits of contact with nature in a park context. More


ABCD Parenting Program Training for Professionals to Deliver Program

The professional training workshop on 11th & 12th September in Hamilton includes a compreshensive introduction to the ABCD program, materials and theoretical basis.
